We followed that good news with a trip to the mall to see Santa. Katie was such a good girl and didn't cry when she sat on his lap. In fact, she didn't even wake up for the ordeal. ;-)
She did wake up and decide it was time to eat when we sat down at PF Changs to eat. This was my first opportunity to test out the Hooter Hider Grandma sewed for me. It worked very well to cover her. Unfortunately, because it bows out at the top, and they chose to seat us in a very prominent walk way, I probably gave everyone who walked by quite a show. When another group left, the waitress was kind enough to move us to their table, more out of the way. You can tell she's a mother too!
