Day 19: Dec 14 - Getting in the Christmas spirit

We had our next set of visitors today, Dino and Mary Ann. They brought some outfits over as a gift, and we had a nice time chatting with them and also looking at pictures from their vacation in New Zealand.

Later that night, the neighborhood had their Christmas Lights walk. The four of us had a nice time walking all through the neighborhood with the other residents looking at everyone’s Christmas lights. At the end, we all met up as a group and voted on the best houses. Instead of tabulating the results, they just drew out of a hat, and our house was the first selected. That meant we got the first choice on prizes, so I grabbed the hockey tickets for a January game. Wonder if Katie likes hockey! ;-)

When we got back to the house and unbundled Katie, it was so cute to see her clutching onto her pacifier underneath her snow suit. I guess she wanted it handy “just in case”.
