Day 292: September 13 - Supavisah Katie

More babyproofing ensues. Time to put a gate at the top of the stairs. Katie did a great job cheering Daddy on as he did it, before taking a break and snuggling with Mommy for a nice long nap.

Day 291: September 12 - Someone's watching over us!

I put my Guardian Angels to good use this weekend! Katie and I drove all over town on Saturday checking out garage sales. Then we picked up Daddy and drove from Fuquay to Southpoint to meet up with the in-laws. Despite all of that driving, especially going 75mph on the interstate with all three of us on board, it wasn't until I pulled into our parking spot at the mall that my tire decided to go. We got out of the car, and my niece said, "Umm, did you know your tire was flat?" and trust me, it was F-L-A-T. I didn't notice it driving, and they said the air was coming out of it quickly, so it had to have just popped as I was pulling in. Had it happened just five minutes earlier, it could have been BAD! I am so grateful for the amazing timing and the watchful eye of my Angels!!

Day 290: September 11 - Short and stout

Katie appears to be short and chubby. For her 9mo well visit, she's 20lbs but only 26.5 inches. She's only a little more than the 10th percentile for height. I always thought she'd be a tall girl since she has long feet, but I guess not. Short and stout, just like her momma! ;-) 44.75cm head circumference, so she's gonna be wicked smaht like me too!

Day 289: September 10 - Another busy day

I had back-to-back meetings in the afternoon, so I barely squeezed my pumping session in. No wonder I'm having such supply issues right now. When we got home, we went for a walk around the neighborhood and then took a bath. Another full and productive day.
